This one will be a short, easy one! In my early years as a consultant, with less experience and probably more inclined into implementing all the “rules” than I should instead of asking more questions and listening to the words of the clients, while entering the space, I saw some dried flowers and said right away: “Oh you shouldn’t have dried flowers, it is like dead flowers”.
This was definitely good Feng Shui for that person. After looking at her priorities though, we saw that the pot pourri was in an area that could use some uplifting, so we kept her “happy” pot pourri but moved it to an area that didn’t represent any challenges. The message here again is to trust your guts, do not let anybody, even a consultant, tell you what to do if it doesn’t make sense to you or feels right.
